Booking Conditions
Our booking conditions are concerned with our role as your travel agent acting
on your behalf in booking inclusive holidays or other travel arrangements. You
must also read and acknowledge the booking conditions of the tour operator with
whom you have booked. We will send you a copy of their booking form, which we
ask you to sign and return, which formalises your contract with the operator
and indicates your acceptance of their booking conditions.

Our Insurance is sold in accordance with the
Association of British Insurers General Business Code of Practice, full details
of which will be sent to you with a copy of your insurance certificate. Please
read them carefully. A copy of these may be obtained prior to purchase if
required. the policy does not cover you for any serious medical condition which
existed prior to it's issue. If in doubt you may obtain a Health Questionnaire
from our Insurers.
It is not compulsory to take our Travel
Insurance but we are required to ensure you have alternative cover and we will
ask you to complete an indemnity form confirming this.
Many tour operators make an additional charge
for taking your skis or snow board on the plane. We will advise you of this at
the time of booking.
If you choose to pay your balance by credit card we make a charge of
1.85%. This is not charged on deposit payments. We can accept balance payments
by cheque or debit card to avoid any charges.
In most instances we do not charge a
Booking Fee however we reserve the
right to do so in certain
circumstances e.g. special
promotions.
Our own price information and booking
conditions meet and abide by the Codes of Practice of the International Air
Transport Association (IATA) and the Codes of Conduct of the Association of
British Travel Agents (ABTA). We also conform to the Which Web Trader Code of
Practice.
Snow-Line is a fully bonded retail member of
ABTA (Membership Number C040X) and IATA (Membership Number 91259626) and in
booking you inclusive holidays and charter flights act as retail agents of ATOL
holders
The tour operators confirmation invoice, your
travel documents and airline tickets will be issued by Snow-Line on behalf of
these principals.
Where Star Ratings are mentioned these are not
official tourist board ratings but rather the classification given by the tour
operator.
Some flights described as direct may include a
technical stop en route but not a change of aircraft. Some of the US &
Canadian flights advertised may involve a change of aircraft.
The holidays listed as available and the
prices shown were correct at the date that they were received from the tour
operators who provide us with the information but cannot be guaranteed until
you have checked with us first.
Prices for holiday packages and flights are in
sterling for return trips, per person. Half board and catered deals are
normally based on two people sharing, however this does sometimes vary. Any
under occupancy supplements will be advised at time of booking. Self catering
prices are based on maximum occupancy of the apartment. Supplements for fewer
adults sharing may apply, and can vary depending on the time of year. Most
package prices include resort transfers but some late deals may not. We will
advise at time of booking if the price includes transfers.
Most prices do include the UK Government Air
Passenger Duty tax of £10 per person to EU countries and £20 to non-EU
countries. If not, we'll tell you before you confirm your booking.
Unless you are specifically advised, prices do
not include insurance, ski passes or equipment hire.
Most package prices do include the £7 air
security fee which was introduced by airlines following September 11th but
where this is not the case we will advise you at the time of booking.
Certain tour operators charge a TOD (ticket on
departure) fee of around £10 for bookings close to departure dates. Tickets
will then be collected from the airport.
Although we are not able to display either the
tour operator's names in the Holiday Finder lists, or the names of specific
accommodation we can supply this information and more when you contact our
Reservations Centre.
As we act as agents for the ski tour operators
we will send you a copy of their booking form which we ask you to sign and
return (a pre-paid envelope is supplied).
Once you have made your booking with us we
will send you an immediate written acknowledgement which will be followed by
the tour operators confirmation invoice as soon as we receive it.
It is your own responsibility to ensure that
you have a valid passport or the relevant Visa required to travel.
