Chalet Rio Grande is in a fantastic location directly on the river with both stunning mountain views and convenient access to skiing. The free ski bus stop is only 50 metres from the chalet. Alternatively guests can walk 400 metres (10-15 minutes) to downtown Aspen or six blocks (15-20 minutes) to the Aspen Mountain Gondola.
This is an absolutely superb chalet with a high standard of décor and excellent facilities. One of chalet’s best features is the open-plan living and dining area, which is beautifully light and airy and boasts a stunning river rock fireplace. All bedrooms are spacious and there is a good ratio of bedrooms to bathrooms (Rooms 1, 2 & 5 are en suite). The lower floor, Room 5, is a spacious, private suite that is sure to be popular – early booking is recommended. The outdoor hot tub is the perfect spot in which to unwind after a hard day tackling the challenges of any of Aspen’s four mountains whilst listening to the Roaring Fork River cascading by. N.B This is a non-smoking chalet.
