The Royal Ours Blanc is considered the best hotel in Alpe d’Huez and it is certainly in the best position and commands fantastic panoramic views over the Oisans mountain range. Located in Avenue des Jeux close to the many shops, bars, restaurants and ice rink in the centre of Alpe d’Huez, the nearest piste is within 100m. There is a reception, spacious lounge with chimney corner, relaxing backgammon bar, restaurant serving traditional french and international cuisine. Indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and sauna and gym. Massage available payable locally. Half board includes a large buffet style breakfast and a 5 course evening meal. Celebration meals at Christmas and New Year are included.
Standard ‘silver’ twin rooms all have bathroom/wc, mini-bar, safe, satellite TV, video, telephone, hair dryer and balcony. Gold rooms were renovated in 2000. Some rooms can sleep up to 4 people. Superior-luxury ‘Platinum’ rooms also have marble bathrooms, jacuzzi bath, kettle. Suites have a duplex with lounge and can sleep up to 4 people.
