Choice of accommodation close to the slopes A four building condominium complex close to the slopes (an easy ski in) and only a short free shuttle to the Fernie ski lifts, the Timberline Lodges offer a range of accommodation with great facilities in the mountain village. Walking to the main lodge in Fernie Alpine Resort takes around 10 minutes and is slightly uphill. The shuttle to Fernie town picks up close to reception. Amenities include an outdoor heated pool, three hot tubs, steam room, exercise room and a guest laundry. All condo units feature fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers and microwave, lounge with gas fireplace and cable TV plus a private balcony and ski locker. Hotel rooms are lockoffs to larger condo units. Units come in three categories – Bronze, Silver and Gold. Bronze units tend to be the slightly older units, whilst Gold units are the newest with superior décor.
