The Hotel Furggen occupies an excellent location for the keen skier, right beside the piste. Intermediate skiers can ski down to the Cretaz lifts or to the gondola and can ski right back to the hotel at the end of the day under normal snow conditions. The hotel has a cosy, pine-panelled lounge with TV and bar where snacks can be ordered. There are plenty of restaurants in Cervinia and the hotel provides a free shuttle service to the resort centre from 6.00pm to midnight (New Year’s Eve 6.00pm-10.30pm).
